How It Works

Live Classes

Each class is 3 hours per week. Classes include Grade 6, Grade 7, Prealgebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Precalculus, and Consumer Math. Classes are live and online but also recorded should a student miss class for any reason. All work from each class is due 10 days after class to allow for flexibility in family schedules, illness, internet issues, etc.  Most work is done online and does not follow a particular curriculum. Material taught is standard grade topics (see Scope & Sequence pages). 

Students will use the Moodle Platform for classes. Inside the class, students can find links to the live class, links to past classes, the homework, quizzes, and tests, as well as supplemental help such as additional videos, games, and activities. In my courses, you will find the help of a live teacher, the fun of games, the engagement of fun activities, lots of resources to guide you along the way, but most of all, learning! 

Classes are $750 each for 96 hours of instruction, grading, materials, supplemental help, and messaging for 1 school year. That means you are paying only $7.50 per hour for a live teacher!
